OMG at yet another Radiohead drool-fest.

The Joshua Tree - Trip Through Your Wires

Automatic For the People - Everybody Hurts (I'd say New Orleans Instrumental No. 5, but those instrumentals barely register with me ... I never think of it as a song. :reject: )

Well, you've redeemed yourself quite a bit there.

I have too many nostalgic attachments with Everybody Hurts and that video so can't name that one. In fact I don't know if I can name anything from Automatic.

why to RH fans shit the bed whenever anyone says they don't like a RH song?

I used to like Everybody Hurts just fine, but now it just puts me into a coma.

I don't think I've ever liked Everybody Hurts. It's one of those Stuck In A Moment kind of songs where you can clearly understand how someone else could love it, but it angers you to the core unless you have some emotional attachment to it yourself.

Personally, I prefer Monty Got A Raw Deal.

Everybody Hurts is probably my least favorite song on Automatic as well.

Monty Got a Raw Deal
Ignoreland
NO Instrumental
Star Me Kitten

The forgotten gems of that album

Oh, the humanity.

but it's cool to shift completely to R.E.M.? I'm not knocking any band at all, but it's sort of a double standard.

Sure the Radiohead love overwhelms threads, but I've seen some derailed by R.E.M. love.

Let the credit go where credit is due.

Nobody has mentioned Try Not To Breathe yet. I love that one. That song got me into REM.

Like a 300:1 ratio.

Flush the RH love.

It's become meaningless.

Plus, REM are better.

No one mentions Man on the Moon or even Nightswimming???

:drool::drool::drool:

Or the astonishingly underrated Star Me Kitten?

I prefer Find the River to Nightswimming, and I've kind of had enough of Man on the Moon for another few years.

:reject:

But overall, it's still one of my all-time favorite albums.
