It was a pop-py kind of evening at the local shop for me...

Madonna - Confessions on a Dance Floor
Lily Allen - Alright, Still
Tori Amos - God (single)

A friend gave me a copy of the Confessions tour, and after seeing it, I was happy to find the album used. And I'm adding yet another Tori single to my collection.

For those of you who got the new Kaiser Cheifs, how is it? I dug "Employment."

It's great, I'm starting to think it's better than Employment, you really should check it out

I planned on buying the deluxe edition of Neon Bible but not one shop received it...:madspit:

I love that album! Well produced and totally danceable.

Yeah, the production is great. I listened to the whole album today, and it's good. The lyrics are mostly shite, but the music itself and the mixing are excellent.

Led Zeppelin - IV (my first hard CD copy of it)
Pulp - We Love Life
Alanis Morissette - Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie

All used, totaling a mere $17.83.

Plus, I have a few humorous stories to tell.

1. There was this 4-5 year old girl asking her dad to look for Slipknot music, to which it sounded like he later replied ".....I don't think you would like that".

2. While Justin Timberlake's My Love was playing (they were playing the whole album, and the part where they just repeat "My love!" over and over at the beginning was playing) there was this little boy, couldn't have been more than 3 or 4, who said "This is good music...is it a robot??? " :lmao:

Good times.

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
Albert Hammond Jr (the title escapes me at the moment)

Picked these both up the other day too.

And Hammond album "Yours to Keep" is really quite good. 409...err...I mean "In Transit" is such a catchy song.

And we all already know how I feel about Neon Bible.
