The used cd-place has been very good to me this past weekend. Finally found DKM's second single's collection.

Futureheads - The Futureheads
Mescaleros (been looking for these for ages, someone must have gotten tired of all their meskies singles) - Yalla Yalla, Johnny Appleseed, Coma Girl and Redemption Song Singles.

 mescaleros singles. i wish someone around here would get tired of their copy of rock art & the xray style  or newbury comics would stop sucking and order me a copy!

Angels: Chill Trance Essentials (2 CDs)
Kruder & Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions (2CDs)
Stereophonics - Language. Sex. Violence. Other?
Death Cab for Cutie - We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes

Armin Van Buuren - A State of Trance 2005 (2 CDs)

Tori Amos - Past the Mission (single)

The first five were all purchased with an amazon gift certificate that mofo gave me. I also bought 'Everything: A Book About Manic Street Preachers' with it, and it already looks to be a terrific read. The next two were hand delivered presents from mofo, with the Manics' single coming from Hong Kong. The last three were purchased this weekend on yet another CD shopping spree with mofo. He also brought me a mix CD that is full of excellent tunes. I must say, I don't know where my CD collection would be without him.

Dang it. I woulda liked to have met the two of you.

Anyway, my latest badness:

Bruce: Devils and Dust
Kasabian (I don't think it'll suck.)
Stereophonics: Language. Sex. Violence. Other?
Faces: Best of...
Ramones: Road to Ruin (replacing vinyl)
Pretenders: Pretenders (replacing vinyl; I forgot how good that record is. )

bruce springsteen - devils & dust (that was on tuesday)

today:
7"s. johnny cash - i walk the line/get rhythm
agnostic front - gotta go/believe, voices - in spanish

Bright Eyes - Every Day And Every Night
Bright Eyes/Neva Dinova - One Jug Of Wine, Two Vessels

my mom didn't buy devils & dust, but she left a message on my voicemail asking if i want to come home to do laundry. i was wondering, why does she sound so eager for me to come home and do laundry? did something break and i need to fix it? is there some housework that needs to be done? do the gutters need to be cleaned?

i called her back, she wants me to come home so i can bring the album with me and she can listen to it

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven' (didnt realize this was a double album!)

I got Devils and Dust over the weekend. Barnes and Noble members, be aware that you can get the CD for $9.49 with your membership card...through, I think, tomorrow. So if you've not gotten it yet and you have a membership at B&N, act quickly!
