Idlewild - Warnings/promises

Stupid US. I'm still waiting for my import to ship, let alone arrive!

In the mean time, used CD store is good:

Mastodon - 'Leviathan' (included DVD)
Astralwerks 05 Film & TV Music Sampler (2 CDs, tons of great stuff from Astralwerks label. I'll post the tracklistings in the List thread)

Kings Of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak
The Killers - Hot Fuss (Didnt realize how much they sound like Franz Ferdinand till I listened to the entire record especially vocally).

It's a bit different hearing his slurred vocals instead of the big call-back you usually find there... but i like it a lot.

The Brazilian Girls - Awesome. Check them out live.

The Dears

Doves

Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake

Bowie - Low

Kings Of Convenience?

I had to buy a CD for my parents today. You can't refuse those request when it means you have an excuse to visit all those record shops again. And they also asked for a good record (I think). Gonna give it a listen in a few moments.

So for them:
Solomon Burke - Make Do With What You Got

Of course I couldn't resist buying something for myself too. From the 'on offer' racks:
Daryll-Ann - Happy Traum

Sigur Ros - 'Untitled #1' Single (includes DVD of their music videos)
Tegan and Sara - 'So Jealous'

I'm feeling 'so jealous' myself!

Ok, that was bad, but I couldn't help it. I think I'll be ordering it soon, unless you say it's not worth the $.

Morrissey - Viva Hate
Devendra Banhart - Niño Rojo
Robyn Hitchcock - Robyn Sings & Storefront Hitchcock
Grandpaboy - Dead Man Shake
R.E.M. - Dead Letter Office

Death Cab for Cutie - 'John Byrd EP' (live tour recording)
The Rapture - 'Echoes'

:hyper: the cost of a second hand cd is unbelievable low.

A flock of seagulls - Listen
Big Country - The buffalo skinners ( promo )
Pinehurst kids - Bleed it dry
Pinehurst kids - Minnesota hotel
Sparta - Porcelain
Killing Joke - Pandemonium
Neil Young + crazy horse - Ragged Glory
Gang of four - Mall
Silverchair - frogstomp

 I am wandering through this *what did you buy stuff * maybe i can find some of the cd mentioned here :hmm:

Hood - Outside Closer (easily one of the best albums of 2005)
Spoon - Kill The Moonlight
Cornelius - Point

just ordered:

Wilco -- Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and A Ghost Is Born

Today arrived:

Elvis Costello - This Year's Model (2CD reissue)

And another Elvis Costello reissue is on its way. :reject:
