Bruce Springsteen- Darkness On The Edge Of Town

The Pogues- If I Should Fall From Grace With God

awesome. more than awesome.

my favorite springsteen albums, and my favorite pogues album.

Ramones - Ramones

All I've had til now was the Anthology...

Which pretty much has this whole album. But hey, now I have 'Havana Affair"

I have no self control, at all.

U2 - 'Sometimes You Cant Make It On Your Own' (not sure what single it is, the one with Ave Maria and Vertigo remixes)
Elliot Smith - 'From a Basement on a Hill'
Ted Leo and the Pharmacists - 'The Tyrrany of Distance'
Pixies - 'Best Of'
Postal Service - 'We Will Become Silhouettes' EP

All together cost me $39.80 (I'm a sucker for bargains)

i'm a sucker for bargins, too.

i love this thread, it reminds me that i'm not alone.

i just got back from the store. it's pissing rain and i don't have an umbrella. but i've got 2 new cds to keep me company while i dry off.

radiohead - the bends ('bout fuckin' time!)
the replacements - tim

Where's Operation Ivy?

 to The Bends

i knew you were going to say that :p

(needed to save the money for the new disasters album that comes out tuesday)

INXS-Kick
I found it on cassette at a thrift store :) I was so happy because I've been looking like crazy for it. No music stores are where I live were any help at all.

I was only going to buy the DVD single of Sometimes... And when I drove to the shopping centre on my bike I thought 'and at most 1 CD that is on offer'

And somehow I ended up buying a full-price CD. :reject: But a very good CD (I hope, although Rono will probably immediately say it is  )
So, my additions are:
U2 - Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own (DVD single)
Thé Lau - De God Van Nederland (with the bonus CD Overspel)

I bought that second album because the bonus disc has a song I've been looking for for a long time. That song was a radio hit about a year ago or so. It's a collaboration between this artist and Junkie XL (or JXL for the Elvis estate  ) and sounds really excellent! :hyper: And since it can only be found on this release (I think) I caved in and bought a full price CD.
Next time I will buy more CD's that are on offer. :|
:reject:

:D

Interpol - 'Evil' EP
Mogwai - 'Government Commissions: BBC Sessions 1996-2003'
Tori Amos - 'The Beekeeper'
