radiohead has four nominations, cash has a bunch too. radioheads categories will never be aired though. and cash doesnt have a chance of winning, which is really too bad.

ya, i be 15 per cents rankin up day club, its your birthday its your birthday

All good, logical choices for video of the year, with Eminem being the weakest nominee of the five, imho. I wouldn't count Johnny out. That video is phenomenal.

I actually think most of the categories have decent choices that really represent what was the best out there this year, or at least the best of what MTV would play.

Cash's video is the best EVER. It actually makes people cry. No better video has been made, or will be made.

I agree. I've never broken down watching a video... Especially towards the end where it's judt Johnny as the lights fade out. One man and a guitar. Perfection.

I hope RH wins some too.

Some of those are really crap lists!!! As Long as Radiohead, Coldplay and Johnny win some It'll be good!!!

.

I like that "Get Busy" song by Sean Paul...it's very catchy.

Also glad to see the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" nominated.

Cash's "Hurt" video should definitely win some awards...that's one of the more powerful, eerie, intriguing videos I've ever seen. And that piano toward the end of the song is just haunting.

Anyway - I know someone who will not be watching this piece of shite.

If there is any justice in this world, "Hurt" will win a ton of awards. Oh, wait a minute, these awards are given by MTV. It doesn't stand a chance.

I really don't think MTV will go all pop. If Neil Young's "This Note's For You" can win best video, so can Johnny Cash's "Hurt."

there there is a great video...i hope it wins something...but then again, i don't agree with the lovely pop-minded money-grubbers at mtv, so i don't really give a rat's ass if they think it's good. if justin wins and radiohead wins, are they thus both at the same caliber?

i think not
