WAIT! There was something the day after I was born

U2 Various Dates
Various Dates: 1978-1989
1987-09-08: 'Trip Through Your Wires' - American Radio - New York, New York, USA
<<< 1987-08-08 - Cork | 1987-09-10 - Uniondale >>>

Setlist:

1. Interview
2. Lucille
3. Lost Highway

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!?!?

Exactly what it looks like - U2 did a radio interview and played the songs they later did as the Daltons!

Also, that's when you were BORN, not CONCEIVED. Closest to my birth is this, eight days beforehand:

1987-01-09: Paradiso - Amsterdam, Netherlands
<<< 1986-07-08 - Wanganui | 1987-03-08 - Belfast >>>

Setlist:

1. Van Morrison's Gloria

Comments: Adam makes an appearence at a Dutch fan club convention and joins the band Tuesday Blue for a rendition of Van Morrison's Gloria (not U2's Gloria).

... or if we go for AFTER my birth, the show with one of only two performances of Pride better than the studio version ...!

1987-03-08: Balmoral TV Studios - Belfast, Northern Ireland
<<< 1987-01-09 - Amsterdam | 1987-03-13 - Dublin >>>

Setlist:

1. People Get Ready
2. Southern Man
3. Trip Through Your Wires
4. Exit
5. In God's Country
6. Pride (In The Name Of Love)

Comments: Filmed in front of a small audience for the TV show Old Grey Whistle Test. Only Exit and In God's Country are broadcast, and this was actually the first ever live performances of both of them. This was also the first of many times that U2 covered People Get Ready.

Oh Axver :lmao:. That's almost exactly the date I was conceived :lmao: I was three weeks early.

We share a show :cornflakes:

Baahaha. Anything with Bono attempting KOHD is gold.

Now look up the live appearance closest to when you would've been conceived. I think I'm winning right now - Self Aid!

The only thing that happened anywhere near when Brittany was conceived or born was a David Bowie gig that Adam and Bono randomly were at singing VM's Gloria, and the kickoff of the ZooTV tour

You know, I've never heard this.

I'm guessing it's funny, though!

Oh, by the way, what're you doing, say, next Tuesday, Ax? Feel like wandering the city terrorising people with our cameras?

Hah, I was just going to suggest to you that we should catch up once before I sod off to Europe. Pretty sure I'll be free on Tuesday, yeah!

Heh, i can get an autographed copy of the new dream theatre for the same price as an unsigned.

Oh, apparently Top Gear's unmasked the Stig, although the person who was unmasked may or may not actually be the Stig. I'm gonna watch that episode now.

Please please inform me on all this.

It's just ... that photo, oh god. Bonnie will know where to find it.

I can't find it, but it looks like Bono's about to ... eat Bowie or puke on him or something. I DID find another photo from that show, though:
