You may be a dork, but I am the great enchanter...some would call me...Tim.

(I got shit on for that scene from 2 generations during separate viewings, my college buddies, and then nieces and nephews many years later)

went to lunch and they had the astros/cubs game on

just in time to see byrd/fukudome bumble over themselves in the outfield

I didn't see the play you're referencing but, yeah, the Cubs' outfield defense is atrocious. Soriano is one of the most mistake-prone outfielders I've ever seen.

in the top of the 4th after 2 were out, byrd & fukudome both put their arms up for a fly ball in right center and their gloves collided, the guy ends up on 2nd

then the next batter lined one to right and fukudome should have played it off the hop but it ended up getting by him. they gave the guy a triple, seems like hometown scoring to me.

following the game now on yahoo and something is totally funky:

the scoreboard has a 6 on it, but here's the inning play-by-play:
- M. Byrd ground rule double to deep center
- A. Soriano doubled to left, M. Byrd scored
- M. Fontenot walked
- A. Soriano stole third
- K. Hill walked, M. Fontenot to second
- C. Tracy hit for C. Silva
- T. Byrdak relieved F. Paulino
- X. Nady hit for C. Tracy
- X. Nady flied out to center
- R. Theriot reached on bunt single, A. Soriano scored, M. Fontenot to third, K. Hill to second
- K. Fukudome hit sacrifice fly to center, M. Fontenot scored, K. Hill to third
- J. Fulchino relieved T. Byrdak
- D. Lee homered to deep left center
- A. Ramirez doubled to shallow left
- M. Byrd grounded out to second

- D. Lee homered to deep left center 3 runs

- M. Byrd grounded out to second

Not sure what's funky...thats 6 runs.

at yahoo, it usually looks like this when someone hits a home run

- M. Young homered to deep right, E. Andrus scored
- S. Choo homered to deep center, A. Cabrera and G. Sizemore scored
(taken from yesterday's indians/rangers game)

What have you got a hard on for Choo or something? You've brought it up twice.

i needed a quick reference to show how yahoo usually posts home runs and i knew choo and young homered yesterday

oh yeah, and i knew you'd see it too. bait taken

i just noticed, someone isn't in the starting lineup tonight

I was thisclose to getting free tickets to see Dick Wood play at the SkyDome tomorrow. Sadly, it didn't pan out, buddy that was looking for tickets for us ran out of time before the end of work today.

chuck norris would have paid to see dick wood
and then he would have given scioscia a roundhouse kick for not starting him

Probably very hot tickets, being the first time a sub .100 hitter named after an erection has played on Canadian soil and all.
