The Beatles LOVE thing

George Martin and son have been playing around with the old Beatles tracks. Sounds interesting. It's out soon. Listen to a few of the songs that are already floating around in this sample that has been released:

The new versions of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Strawberry Fields are droolworthy.

Is that sample just something that's being freely distributed online officially? In a nutshell, something that doesn't violate our rules for links here?

Well...I guess unless I hear otherwise, I'll leave it for now...because I don't know either. :slant:

Hate to spoil the party but this sounds like the 4 track sampler that was given to some radio stations:

1. Strawberry Fields Forever
2. Octopus's Garden
3. Lady Madonna
4. While My Guitar Gently Weeps

PS - I saw the show in Las Vegas and it is fantastic.

The soundtrack is coming out next week, I've heard. I already heard Lady Madonna and Octopus's Garden on the radio and they were both fab.

And I think LOVE is going to have a short performance on Leno tonight or tomorrow.

Oh man I'm such a nerd for this shit. I'm all like, "Wow they used a different vocal take for Back in the USSR and used cleaner drums"

I love this compilation

how about the medley Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! / I Want You (She's So Heavy) / Helter Skelter

Oh shit, they took the accompaniment from end of Hey Jude and used it at the beginning of Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise). Just hearing some of these tracks with more sparse / different arrangements is a musical joygasm - Day in the Life for instance.

1. "Because"
2. "Get Back"
3. "Glass Onion"
4. "Eleanor Rigby" / "Julia" (transition)
5. "I Am the Walrus"
6. "I Want to Hold Your Hand"
7. "Drive My Car" / "The Word" / "What You're Doing"
8. "Gnik Nus"
9. "Something" / "Blue Jay Way" (transition)
10. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" / "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" / "Helter Skelter"
11. "Help!"
12. "Blackbird" / "Yesterday"
13. "Strawberry Fields Forever"
14. "Within You Without You" / "Tomorrow Never Knows"
15. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"
16. "Octopus's Garden"
17. "Lady Madonna"
18. "Here Comes the Sun" / "The Inner Light" (transition)
19. "Come Together" / "Dear Prudence" / "Cry Baby Cry" (transition)
20. "Revolution"
21. "Back in the USSR"
22. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
23. "A Day in the Life"
24. "Hey Jude"
25. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (reprise)
26. "All You Need Is Love"

oh. my. god.

:combust:
