Let's appreciate the beefy and charasmatic Aucklander. A hero of mine from the first game of cricket I ever watched... Mark Greatbatch will forever remain one of the true legends of the game. :yes:

I just looked up his stats and I find it interesting that although he was a left-handed batter, he actually bowled with his right.

I thought I knew everything about the NZ cricket team from 1994 onwards. :S
 
He bowled a single over in test cricket, no runs, no wickets!

I think he also once took a wicket in the New Zealand first class comp!
