i actually saw them on some show on mtv (weird huh)...but when they interviewed the singer, he was talking about how his goal is to be the biggest band in the world. he said the band is from a small town, and the only way to get people there to hear them on the radio is to be as big as eminem.

now, not that i think it's highly likely but...anyone else remember another band that set out with these ambitions?

My friend sent me a song of theirs, "God Only Knows." I like it a lot. It's sort punky but the singer's voice isn't annoying like most punk voices.

Good fun rock basically sums it up for me.

I love them! They're an amazing live band. I did an interview with them about 1 year ago and they were okay. Not the most interesting people I ever met, but they were polite etc.
