LS a watered down IO?

I kinda always wondered this... and I'm hoping that I won't be laughed right out but is Lemonade Stand like a-- well-- watered down version of IO? I see the same sort of posts but the only thing in LS is that it's more... not random thoughts just thrown in and there's a bit more discussion over here.

So am I right or am do I just have too much time to think about this?
