POst a lyric, first to guess the lyric picks a new one. This is a non U2 one. U2 one is in EYKIW. You know the drill...

I wish I could eat your cancer when you turn back
Hey

Forever in debt to your priceless advice

Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana

And now the sun's coming up, I'm riding with Lady Luck, freeway cars and trucks,
Stars beginning to fade, and I lead the parade
Just a-wishing I'd stayed a little longer,
Oh, Lord, that the feeling's getting stronger.

Wont ever make you cry

Take me, walking
To where you played when you were young...

You wouldn't be able to narrow it down to decade and country of origin, would you? I'd really love to be able to give an answer. It's eating away at my insides.

First song of the first album released in 1973 by a man born in California in 1949.

Maybe it was mean to ask such a difficult one...

"Lady Luck" is an interesting lyrical phrase though. Has a bit of a Bob Seger ring to it, yes?

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about Bob Seger but I thought "Lady Luck" was a common phrase. I'd better think of easier lyrics to post otherwise nobody will ever guess it,

Just give me a second to think...

Easy one

Since you went away I've been hanging around
I've been wondering why I'm feeling down
You went away, it should make me feel better
But I don't know, oh
How I'm gonna get through?

Ok, no idea on yours SkeeK, but wasn't that other one from a Dusty Springfield song the Pet Shop Boys just covered? (And yes, I do know she sang that verse on that song, so maybe that's why I think that.)

Today's the day she's sworn
To steal what she never could own
And race from this hole she calls home,,,,,
