Last week of AWF fundraising drive

As some of you might know, we are in the midst of the Bono Birthday fundraising drive. We are requesting donations on behalf of Bono's birthday this year ( 3rd year running) to build wells and other water projects in Africa. We've gotten some great press this year from Variety.com, showbizireland, billboard.com and internet radio station leader, woxy.com. We're hoping our increased presence in the media will translate into greater awareness of the lack of clean water in African countries, and in turn more people reaching out to help those in need.

We are in the last week of promotion for this year's fundraiser. If you are interested in promoting the AWF at an upcoming u2 fan related event, please email me at jcook@africanwellfund.org and I can maiil you some flyers.

You can donate via snail mail or online through the beginning of may and still sign the card.

Also, AWF accepts donations all year long, not just during Bono's bday campaign. We are a 501c3 so you can choose the charity as a payroll deduction, and you can also SHOP at our website to help support admin costs we incur thorughout the year. Some of our affiliates are itunes, and amazon.com
