Are there any Kinks-lovers round here?

Well I am,

Yesterday I bought: Lola vs Powerman and the moneygoround. Today it's the first time I listen to it, of course I know Lola and Apeman and I think the rest on the album is pretty good.

I don't think it's better than Arthur or VGPS.
That are the only three albums I got but I LOVE them.

What are your favourite Kinks albums, and songs?>

"The Strangers" and "Get Back In Line" are two other great songs on that album.

Pretty much all of their albums from the eponymous to Lola are worthwhile (I'm told some of the later ones are okay too, but I haven't bothered with any of them yet), especially now that most of the CD editions are expanded. My favorite's Face To Face.

The Kinks is one of those many bands I need to check out more. I only know a couple of songs of them (Lola (Live) of course and also You Really Got Me, Village Green Preservation Society, Dedicated Follower Of Fashion, All Day And All Of The Night, etc.), but what I know I like a lot.
