I love his films, although a few haven't quite hit the mark (Cecil B.Demented, Cry Baby). What does everyone think about this films?

In case you've forgetton which ones he's directed they're "A Dirty Shame", "Pecker", "Cecil B. Demented", "Serial Mom", "Hairspray", "Cry Baby", "Polyester", "Multiple Maniacs", "Pink Flamingos"...etc...

ive seen pecker and serial mom
i loved pecker ...
talk about bringing people out of obscurity..ie: patty hearst

i've only seen a dirty shame and hairspray. my mom loves his movies which is hilarious as they can be a bit raunchy at times and that is so not her thing. i think she mainly likes them because they all take place in baltimore, where she was born and raised.

I get confused by threads like this, cause there are at least three John Waters, all different people who do different things.

Everyone should see "Pecker", "Pink Flamingos", and "Hairspray". While "Pink..." may induce multiple vomiting sessions, it's a landmark in American film.

And for the uneducated...check him out at imdb.com
