The next Lynch movie I'm gonna go for is Eraserhead, then probably The Elephant Man.

As for tonight's movie-watching, it'll probably be a double-feature of Oldboy and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (picked it up for 6 bucks at Circuit City!)

Oldboy

Diving Bell.... eehhhhh not so much.

If I don't love Diving Bell, I'll just trade it into Moviestop next week and pick up Synecdoche. It's a win-win.

I believe this is on Netflix watch instantly queue. I keep telling myself I should watch it, but never do.

I tried to watch it on my 360 the other day, but the quality was awful. Maybe it's my connection, which is probably likely.

I also got a call from one of those Nielsen movie survey people. Crazy stuff.

diving bell - over rated

oldboy - great stuff  best of that trilogy

Having watched the Public Enemies trailer a couple more times, I'm just about creaming myself over the digital aesthetic its showcasing. I'm dying to see this, if only for more delicious DV photography.

I can only imagine their frustration at hearing you're watching Midget Porn on your TV most of the time.

The guy is actually gonna call be back tomorrow, because he filled his quota for my age group today. He'll find out about the Midget Porn tomorrow.

It's actually all movie-based, not TV-based, which was surprising. Audience awareness stuff and the like.

Incidentally, saw a trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine before Watchmen last night.

All I have to say is: Gambit finally makes an appearance in an X-Men film...:drool:

And it looks like he has an epic fight with Wolverine! :hyper:

I'm not a big Jarmusch fan (save for Dead Man), but that looks pretty great. Likely due to Doyle actually making this visually interesting.

And of course, the Almodovar looks phenomenal, even if I couldn't understand a word. That guy's got one hell of a streak going.

Best movie poster I've ever seen.

I actually met a girl who looks a hell of a lot like her at our party on Friday. I should have snapped a photo for you.

So essentially she's going to be playing Rory again, right where she left off, minus the Obama campaign job?

You should have snapped more than a picture, you know what I'm sayin'?

Hey oh!

If I hadn't met her boyfriend whilst meeting here, maybe I would have. I'm trying to get away from the whole instigating cheating thing. It hasn't worked well for me the past few times.

She does kind of have one of those familiar faces. I've also seen a few girls who look very similar to her, but none that are actually on her level.

And wow, your avatar is amazing. Seriously good shit.

Yes. I can't wait. Michael Keaton is also in the movie. Make of that what you will.

Apparently they couldn't get a blurb from someone who wasn't having a stroke at the time of writing.

The movie was pretty bad. I've heard the animated show got better as it went on, but I'm not a fan of the animation compared to the original miniseries with Tartakovsky's designs.
