Caught! :eeklaugh: It was hard to decide so when I did I burned it 3 times. [one for me!]

Glad you like.

Now who has mine? I am still waiting.:(

YellowKite, Pax, and Joyfulgirl, I sent your cds on Monday, but I forgot to put a note or anything with them . So if you get a package from England, it's probably from me.

I'm mailing my last cd out on Monday.

well, yes, i'd surely reparticipate!!

got a q for you paxetaurora. well, actually, first id like to say thanks for organizing all of this :applaud:

but, how did you decide on the amount of cds that anyone had to make? it seems that most people around here made 3 or 4, but i only had to make 1. i did indicate that i could make a few more...

id love to make a couple of more in the icde part 3! :D

The method to my madness... ;)

It all depended on what people were asking for and what people said they could make. In my striving to keep the number of CDs made and the number of CDs received, some people were asked to make fewer than they said they could. The matching took me several days and got pretty complicated toward the end, and I freely confess that the number of CDs requested by each participant wasn't always the #1 factor in how I did the matches. It was more important that I just sort of got everyone in *somehow*, and that the number of CDs received was equal to the number made.

This ICDE was a little more complex than the first one due to the "matching" of interests and requests. We may not do it that way next time. I haven't yet talked to LarryMullen's_POPAngel (hi April  ) about ICDE v.3.0, but since the last two seem to have gone pretty successfully, I don't see why there won't be a third one in the near future. Are there any volunteers for coordinators? ;)

I do apologize for a few of the more awkward matches, and I hope everyone enjoyed their CD or CDs regardless. :) I'm loving mine--I have more tracklistings to post later!

A few more things:

--By tomorrow, I would say, ALL CDs should be shipped, even if you previously told me or your ICDE partner there would be a delay (yes, Heads, even yours...LOL). If you have not shipped your CDs by tomorrow, PM OR E-MAIL ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

--By early next week, then, you should have received as many CDs as you shipped out for the exchange. If you have not, PM OR E-MAIL ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! We may be able to compensate you as some very kind ICDEers have offered to send extra compilations to those who don't get theirs, free of "charge."

--If you do not hold up your end of the ICDE bargain, you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to participate in subsequent exchanges.

Thanks to everyone for participating in ICDE v.2.0. Hopefully ICDE v.3.0 isn't too far away!

I didn't put notes in mine either. It was hard enough to pick the damn songs!?

The lovely PO left me a claim ticket for a certified letter on 07/02/03 and on 07/03/03 I went to pick it up and it was returned as 'unclaimed' - so weird things are afoot at the USPS. I hope it doesn't interfere with my Interference.

I will await the music - Thanks.

Ok, my last one is going out in about a half hour. I found a glitch on one song and had to do it over. So I am barely making the final final cut off point. :reject:

Okay I feel really bad bc I meant to mail my cds out before the 4th of July weekend but seeing as my parents left on Tues(7/1) and btw left me without a car and dont get back until Tommorrow early morning, I havent been able to mail them yet but I just wanted to say that my cds will be in the mail by Wed of this week, sorry

Oh, and don't forget--when you do receive any of your CDs, post the tracklistings in this thread! :) Also include the Interference screen name of the person who sent you the CD. This helps us to be sure that everyone has kept up their end of the ICDE bargain. It also lets the person(s) who made the CD(s) know that the package arrived and didn't get lost in the mail.

Thanks!

I didn't get to send my last cd today because I was sick this morning and didn't get out of the house until later than I'd planned (I sound like I'm making an excuse for not doing homework :reject: ). I'll take a walk onto the streets of Hackney tomorrow to post it.

Thank you!!

I'll post the tracklist later (which may or may not be the same as the one paxetaurora posted). I'll be listening to it while I pack up my life this week to move. :)

Hello,

This morning I mailed out the last of the ICDE compilation's. So pax, I am a brave boy now, as I've done everything you asked for. ;)

C ya!

Marty (who needs a break from burning CD's)

Ok, I can now confirm that the tracklist paxetaurora posted from meegannie is also the one I got. Here it is again, because it is definitely worth repeating. Let's just take a nice long look at this fabulous tracklist one more time:

12.) "Tonight I Might See" Adrian Crowley
13.) "The Vineyard" Augie March
14.) "A Wooden Horse" British Sea Power
15.) "Rocket Man" My Morning Jacket

Damn, it's so good. The hearts only represent what's jumped out at me the first 4 listens but I haven't taken it all in yet. Disc 2 was really soothing while I was packing last night and taking a little nostalgic trip down memory lane as I went through old journals, letters, etc. :)

I had a Frames song on one of my v.1.0 mixes too. I really really want to buy the CD, but I should probably wait until I get paid again.
