In my Beat Lit class last fall, my friend Eric read aloud a page of Naked Lunch in his best Burroughs imitation. Oh man, it was so dead on. I thought I was going to fall out of my chair it was so funny!

Ironically i think Man On The Moon is a very pedestrian song.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way

That song has never really done much for me. Yet at the concert I went to last month everybody was rockin' to it. . .and it's the first on this compilation. . .huh.

I got it today. I like how the liner notes suggest taking one's 2 least favorite songs off of Out of Time (for me, "Low" and "Texarkana") and replace them with "Fretless" and "It's a Free World Baby." I might actually try that.

 LOW

anyways, I'm not that big of a R.E.M. fan, and after a few spins, the B-sides didn't interest me very much... but the main disc is a gem!

I went to go get this at Target last night. They were out of it, so I got the new Outkast instead.

How is that? I listened to two songs and I thought they were good.

R.E.M. - I would like to get this at some point this week.

I listened to the new Outkast a couple of times and its a great album

or 2 great albums really

I think it's kinda strange only 1 song from Out of Time is on there
