Say no more, my friend.

I personally loved the way she performed it on the Blonde Ambition tour back in 1990 and the Confessions Tour last year the best.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aksk6zbGyrw FYI, on the Confessions one here, the first 3 minutes are 3 of her dancers telling stories of difficult experiences they went through as children, so if you're not interesed you can skip that.

Smart girl = got the hint. :)

Thanks....

This is actually a better performance of "Live To Tell" from Blonde Ambition, just because it captures the vulnerability in the song better. She'd lost her voice by this point in the tour, so she wasn't sounding the best, but she's Madonna so who cares?

I wonder what her dad thought when he heard "Oh Father" for the first time. I love that song too. That and "Promise To Try" about her mother have to be the most personal songs she's ever written.

This IS a better version.

Thanks!

I'd ask you to marry me but interference does not need the gossip. :)

Isn't Dalton marrying Gabe's wife? You guys could go to the same parlor.

What about "Open your heart" by Madonna? Now that's an awesome song. As for the video... never mind. :uhoh:

Almost every song by Madonna is awesome. "Open Your Heart" was definitely one of her best upbeat songs that she'd written at that point.

"Like a prayer", "Borderline", "Open your heart" and "Live to Tell" are the most amazing songs ever by her. Even her rendition of "American Pie" was good. Oh and how can we forget "Ray of Light"? :combust:
