ICDE Vol 5: The Official Thread

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I got indra's mix(es) over the weekend. Lovely stuff, I'll post the tracklistings later.

I'm in the middle of some rather muddlesome theatre exams (not mine, but I'm helping) at the moment so my own mixes are half done but rest assured they should theoretically be posted by the start of next week.

atleast you have an excuse, yertle. i'm just lame.

bike is fixed. post office tomorrow (today).

stupidity is the best excuse. because without stupidity i would have remembered the lock for my bike that would have enabled me to go into the post office :der:

My excuse would just depress me to actually see it in writing so let's just say it's a good one and I hope to get my mixes out in the next week but I can't promise.

I mailed my mixes today!
So my recipients can expect them the next week or so.
But since nobody (except one) knows who my recipients are, everyone can camp out in front of his/her mailbox.

Arrived here!

I've listened to it a few times already today (well...yesterday). Cool mix! :)

So all three of my recipients already have my CD?! :hyper:

:)

I will try to post a more elaborate tracklist in my journal in the next few days.

C ya!

Marty

that looks fantastic.

I got pax's mix! :hyper:
When she said she had one person on her list that she already had with a prior ICDE, I was hoping that person would be me. Yeah, I know, I'm selfish. Fact is that pax makes great mix CD's. At the very least, the one she sent me before (wasn't that with the very first Interference CD Exchange? ) is excellent. In fact, today I was thinking that I should play that one again (haven't done it yet, sorry :reject: ). And just this very day, the mailman brings me a new ICDE mix from pax! Thank you!

So here's the tracklisting:
Everybody knows it sucks to grow up
1. The Postal Service - The District Sleeps Alone Tonight
2. Leona Naess - Charm Attack
3. Death Cab For Cutie - Title And Registration
4. The Shins - Young Pilgrims
5. Beth Orton - Best Bit
6. Suzanne Vega - Penitent
7. Fountains Of Wayne - Fire Island
8. Nada Surf - Paper Boats
9. Jeff Buckley - Je N'En Connais Pas La Fin (Live)
10. Ben Folds - Still Fighting It
11. The Long Winters - Prom Night At Hater High
12. The Frames - Fitzcarraldo (Live)
13. Jesse Sykes and The Sweet Hereafter - Your Side Now
14. Cowboy Junkies - Thunder Road
15. Arcade Fire - Wake Up
16. Peter Gabriel - Solsbury Hill

 pax

How do I get involved in this for future? I love getting and making mix CDs.

Since Marty's made it all the way across the ocean, I'm guessing my other two recipients have theirs as well...?

:D I got it! (I don't check my po box every day as it's a fair drive). Looks good...it will get it's first spin tonight. :)

Indra, have you found that secret track already?

As they say in the X-Files, the truth is out there... :sexywink:
(this is supposed to be a Songs In The Key Of X (which was a compilation inspired by The X-Files) style hint...)

:)
