.......Hootie & the Blowfish??

Okay forget the incredibly dodgy name first of all. But I LOVED the first album 'Cracked Rear View.' Darius had such a big beautiful voice, and great melodies.

I remember they were massive for a while and then there was a backlash, and now the consensus seems to be that they're lame. I didn't buy the second record so I don't know if that's why, I recall not being into what I heard off it.

So what happened....... and does anyone care?

hahah.. well, in my sillie mind, I envision them chilling on lake front property in the Carolinas waiting for the obligatory Car Commercial to knock on their door wanting to feature a song of theirs to sell a new compact-hatchback for aging yuppies.
