Happy Songs

I have been listening to the Villa Elaine CD by Remy Zero the past few days and I notice how happy the final song, Goodbye Little World, makes me feel. It's just a very upbeat, optimistic song and I can't help but smile when I hear it. And it's not what I would call a gimmick or comedy song, it's a "real" song -- it's just such a happy song.

What songs do this for you?

Hmmmm... I'm just going to name a lot of bands who make me happy too:

The Shins
Bouncing Souls
Franz Ferdinand
Hot Hot Heat

Most anything by them puts me in the "happy happy, joy joy" mood

Trance music makes me happy. It's hard to listen to an entire DJ set and not feel happy and peppy afterwards.

"Sweet Georgia Brown" by the Dick Hyman Group and Howard Alden (off the Sweet and Lowdown soundtrack) and also "Mile End" by Pulp.

And anything by The Wiggles. Watching fucking childrens shows all morning does stuff to you.
