i must be the only person who is staying at home...when i should be out....doing something....but oh well....TV1 has a Becker Marathon....

So i wish everyone here a safe and happy new year...and too those who have been affected by the Tsnami in Asia.....I wish you the best...and there is always a light at the end of the tunnel...

Happy New Year everyone!!

I just got home from a nights drinking. It would have cost me £15-20 or thereabouts to get home by taxi tonight so I took the (free) night bus instead which would still have involved a 30 minute walk from the stop on the route nearest to my home. However, for a £5 tip the bus driver took me, alone, and off his permitted route, to the end of my road, on the condition that he add the money to the money his wife is going to donate to the Quake fund!
