I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia- the Sunshine Coast is about a one hour drive north of Brisbane (the capital city of Queensland)- the Sunshine Coast has about a half a million people living here and it is basically a string of beachside suburbs spread out over about 50kms- the suburb I live in is called 'Coolum Beach'- which is at the northern end of the coast...

here is a pic of Coolum Beach- about a 5min walk from where I live

I couldn't find any decent pics of where I live but our water tower is probably the most recognizable feature. We also have some historic homes and our downtown area, Placita Santa Fe, still has most of the original buildings.

NicaMom's photos can pretty much sum up my area...our cities are right next to each other. I live in the tri-city area of Placentia/Brea/Fullerton and can stand with one foot in Placentia and the other in Fullerton at the end of my block.

My hometown is Menominee, Michigan. Prior to having to move away 2 years ago, I spent the first 18 years of my life there. I miss home very much and like to visit whenver possible. Our twin city is Marinette, Wisconsin. Here is a picture from NASA:

Here is another pic from my hometown...the Menominee Marina...my best friend Kim and I loved hanging out down there...see the circle the arrow is pointing to? We always hung out in that spot. There is a sign there with our names carved in it.
