I hadn't heard about these guys until a few weeks ago...I must not be as indietastic as I thought.

I'm 10 minutes into LYSFLATH and it's great so far. I wish there were vocals. I'm so lame.

What do you think?

I stopped after track 1 ended. A good way to spend 20 minutes, but I just don't have 87 minutes to kill.

*puts on a Replacements record*

I was listening to Can't Hardly Wait (The Tim Version) at work and a coworker was really into the song; she'd never really heard of the band before.

They were responsible for kick-starting the current jiving indie music scene in Montréal or something.

I'm too lazy to listen to them, though.

Overrated, but good. I enjoy them without devotedly following their every move. I also enjoy The Replacements, but not nearly as much as The Hold Steady, a band which trumps both Godspeed and Westerberg's crew in every conceivable way.
