how much do they charge after the 6 month offer? i don't want to really pay for a host just yet.

I started paying this fall and will never go back! It automatically withdraws $5 from my bank account each month. To me, $5 is totally worth not having to hassle w/ ads, low bandwidth limits, not enough storage space, etc.

Girl listen to me, it's time! Knowing how many sites and forums you create, I think it's time you start thinking about buying your own domain. It's worth it. I even know of some cheap providers too yanno.
