Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind (Bite me )

Very awesome album, it would be in my list too. Btw, I read somewhere that Stephan Jenkins graduated top of his class in English at Cal-Berkeley, so anyone who doesn't like our pick can bite us. There is some incredible stream-of-consciousness poetry in 3EB lyrics.

I'll just mention a few others:

Yes - Close to the Edge
Aaron Copland - Conducts Copland
Genesis - Foxtrot
Bob Marley - Exodus
The Beatles - just about all of them

Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio
Queen - The Works
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Barenaked Ladies - Gordon

This list could be about 50 albums longer, but I'll be good and not bore anyone. If you're curious, those are in order of most favourite to least, in descending order, not to do any disservice to the ones that appear last. The problem with this question is that my answer changes on a semi-weekly basis, otherwise there'd be Zeppelin and Tom Petty on there, or Black Sabbath and Barry White... you just never know.

favorite non-u2 album? that changes from time to time:

1: Queens Of The Stone Age: Lullabie To Paralize
2: The Killers: Hot Fuss
3: Red Hot Chily Peppers: By The Way
4: Morrissey: You Are The Quarry
5: Prince: Purple Rain

another one and perhaps THE favorite: T.Rex: Electric Warrior.
Electric Warrior is one of those timeless classic. the music sounds as fresh as on its release date in late 1971.
