The "Harper's Yearly Review" thread in FYM got me thinking about magazines. So, what magazines does everyone read?

I'll start....

Rolling Stone - my source of music news and other random articles, plus lots of U2 clippings! Not the greatest reads, but you can't beat $12/yr

International Gymnast - yeah, I love gymnastics and it's the best gymnastics magazine

Harper's, New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly - I don't subscribe b/c my mom does so I read all hers. I lumped them together b/c their my favorite sources of more scholarly magazine literature.

Redbook, Cosmo - gotta have my trashy "beach reads" (don't worry, I ONLY buy these when going on vacation to a beach)

Got a free subscription to Maxim, so that.

Rolling Stone if the cover catches my eye, same with Blender.

Spin is just okay, never really wowed me.

I think she wins too. I struggle to find the time just to read People

National Geographic
Redbook and Allure when I can be bothered to go to Borders and pay lots of £'s for the imports

I very rarely buy magazines anymore unless there's something in them that I really want to read aboot. If they were priced a bit lower I bet I'd buy more. Some of my favs

Birds and Blooms
Canadian Geographic
National Geographic
Guitar World
Metal Maniacs
Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles
Readers Digest
Blender
Sing Out!

I mainly read Time, Rolling Stone, and some guitar stuff, but every once in a while I enjoy Newsweek

Giant - Fairly new magazine. I think its geared towards men, but its much better than the Blender type magazines.

Entertainment Weekly
