Well, the Fantastic Four aren't even close to being as cool as the X-men, but I still liked the characters. I didn't like the score at all and some of the dialogue was crappy. I still liked the movie.

Actually, I feel like I should have liked the characters, but Mr Fantastic was played too dull and Jessica Alba, while she looked good, acted horribly. The Human Torch was sometimes amusing and sometimes annoying. Now that I think about, The Thing and Dr Doom were kinda interesting, but compare them to Wolverine and Magneto, and they are nothing.

Seriously, I think the score really affected how I viewed the movie. The music was often silly sounding and deflated any feelings I might even think about having.

I wanted to enjoy the movie. I thought it would be mindless fun like National Treasure, which was also trounced by the critics. Alas.

It's amazing how much scores affect a movie. I have the Fantastic 4 game and the same music is played. It's repetitive and boring, just like it was in the movie.

It seems like movies always come out in a hurry when they could have been much better if a just a little more time had been put into it.

I can definitely see why people didn't like it. I enjoy superheroes so much that it is hard for me to dislike movies made about them (except for Elektra and Batman and Robin- they were awful).

Zoney, what I meant was that your avatar's expression perfectly matched what you said in an earlier post... like you know, that grit-your-teeth "sheesh/geez" bug-eyed look to the point that 56 million dollars went to that drivel.
