Finally you lost your weight!
From seize 3/5 the ally weight...

Blinded you lost your way...
On the side streets and the allyways.

(U2-Angel of Harlem)
I already thought; This is not a typical U2 lyric...

yeah...all the time. heh. let me think for a sec cause i can never remember.

in my favorite, love is blindness, i used to think it was "the night is slipping" when really it's "the knot is slipping," but that's not very exciting.

OH! this isn't me, but it's still the best one EVER cause my mother still maintains that her version MAKES MORE SENSE !(???)

in stay: my mother thought "dressed up like a cockroach"
real lyrics are "dressed up like a car crash"

she laughs every time she hears it...............but how on earth does cockroach make MORE sense??

LMAO I haven't heard that song but that just made me laugh!! TI-83! LOL

you haven't heard the song? you are extremly lucky. EXTREMLY.

of course, that's just my opinion. i'm not sure if you're into very commercial rap or not.

I just now realized that in REM's 'The Sidewinder Sleeps',

the chorus is saying, 'Call me when you try to wake her up'........

I always thought it was saying, 'Only in Jamaica'.......

Bright Eyes - "Sunrise Sunset":

Correct:

"Just keep putting on the play"

Heard while drunk:

"Just keep pudding on the plate"

It made me want pudding so badly.

Stevie Nicks Edge of 17. White Winged Dove=One Winged Dove :eyebrow: who would right a song about a one winged dove?
.

For the longest time I thought that song was "Wild Winged Dove". It never made much sense, but it's a little more plausible than a one winged dove.

Another one of mine. When I first heard "When the Stars Go Blue" I thought the line ?Dancin' little marionette? was ?dancin' Marie Antoinette?

This, of course, made no sense, and I looked it up immediatly.

I recently got Pearl Jam - Vs and was listening to it while fallign asleep...so I ended up hearing a few things preeeetty wrong

On 'Glorified G':

Actual lyric: glorified version of a pellet gun...
I heard: glorified version of a pelican...
:crack: ...I know, I know.

On 'Rats'

Actual lyric: lick the dirt off a larger one's feet...
I heard: Lick the dirt off Elijah Wood's feet...
:coocoo:

i thought it was...nevermind, not elijah wood, but an unintelligible word kind of like callyoutrimayker...
