Drew Black is a local artist whom I manage and have played piano and some drum tracks on a few of his songs.
Drew writes his own lyrics and plays guitar.
His influences include Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, Radiohead, U2 (mainly Achtung Baby and Pop), PJ Harvey and Pedro the Lion.
If anyone would like to receive a copy of his album, please email me jason_fuerst@yahoo.com and I can get that sent off to you free of charge. He is planning to do a midwest tour summer of 2004. When you get the CD, if he is an artist that you think will sound good at a coffee shop or laid back bar, let me know, or if you'd just like to see him.
