Do I want to read a Tony Hillerman book?

His books are fun, weaving Navajo tradition and culture into pretty good mysteries. Go for the Joe Chee ones. I like his character best.
 
Well, I read The Ghostway. It was pretty good. Mystery plots in general are kind of weird (and violent), but I liked the Navajo bits and I've been to a lot of the places he describes. Maybe I'll try another one later.
 
Hmm, I'd venture to guess that you've probably been to a lot of the places in Janet Fitch's novels, too.

I'd recommend her stuff instead.
