wtf? i hate when parents do that. especially when it comes to a student loan, i don't think you're going to just not do anything until it's too late.

I know. I mean I realize that he's paying for school right NOW, but I don't think it's dawned on him how MUCH I have in student loans. I try not to think about it because it's just that much :sigh:

I don't know what I'll do if I don't go home for Thanksgiving

:must stop thinking about this:

yeah i'm fine, i just have the remnants of a migraine and the nausea that comes with it. it sounds weird but i hope i'll feel better after i eat something.

No I completely understand. I've got low blood sugar or something (I probably should see a doctor and find out exactly what's wrong, but I'm too scared :uhoh: ) so if I don't eat when I wake up my hands get really shaky, and I can barely hold on to anything  ah well. Anyways, I understand what you mean.

i can imagine! school is so fucking expensive, especially if you're not living with your parents. then you've got to pay for your tuition and books and also wherever you live, food, and any bills like cable, electricity, and whatever if they're not included. it'd be easy to need like $100k in loans over the course of four years. scary.

if you can't go home i'll hurt someone. that's not right.

ooh yeah, that's pretty scary. that happens to me sometimes but there's nothing wrong with me really, my mom insists i get checked every year for diabetes and i'm always fine.

I've got to stop listening to John Mellencamp music when I'm homesick. "Small Town" just now almost made me cry...especially this part:

No I cannot forget where it is that I come from
I cannot forget the people who love me
Yeah, I can be myself here in this small town
And people let me be just what I want to be

I think each year I get 12,000 in loans...so 48,000 by the time I graduate at least :yikes:

 why thank you XD.

When I go home for Christmas break mom's finally taking me to get checked out. I need to know if there's something wrong or not, ya know?

yeah. luckily in my case, i'm already like halfway there, most of the classes i've already taken i did when i had my scholarship. but still, if i decide to do graduate work that's more expensive and i'll of course have to pay for an apartment and stuff even longer without working to support my ass.

no problem :D

gooooood, you should. it's probably just a low blood sugar issue BUT if it's something worse, then you need to find out.

Damn, i forgot to find out which NFL game sky are showing tonight before I caught all of the scores.

It would bloody figure they'd carry a good close game that I'd have preferred to see without finding out the score.

of course :D

oh god, this is why i hate watching sports games. they score a touchdown, go to commercial. come back for i think 30 seconds, long enough to score a field goal, then back to commercial again.

At least it's got to be better than watching NFL on ESPN over here. Commercials as such don't bother me, but when they're the same generic fucking ESPN ads every break it drives me crazy. World's Strongest Man Minute - who fucking cares? Do I look like I give a shit about the World Series of Poker? I'll ask again in the next ad break when I have the EXACT SAME ADS.

oh god, i know. the steelers were on last week on espn, actually. and i hate wsop. it doesn't help that i worked for the casino that did that. i fucking hated when wsop came to our casinos, every fucking idiot wanted to sign up and....blah gfy

fuck you colts

Have you picked a school yet?

 :swoon:

Yeah, exactly.

i'm mostly waiting for a school to pick me. my grades are so terrible no one's accepting me. :sigh: penn state is the only one i've yet to hear from, because i have to send them a high school transcript. maybe if they see that they'll know i'm not some dumbass. if they don't accept me i'll just have to finish my degree here, which wouldn't be the worst thing but they don't even have a program for me, i'd have to have an earth sciences degree.

Vikings and Packers, get it right. Also, creepy.

Goddam, the fieldpass feed doesn't take ads, and I heard the start of one of those Bud Light Real Men of Genius/something similar ads. I love those.
haha, oops. don't know where i got panthers from. and hey, i looked it up to do you a favour. last time i do that :tsk:

real men of genius? i don't think i've heard that one. i try to tune out beer ads. none of the commercials tend to interest me because surprisingly, they're aimed at men. shocking, i know. but i don't need hair dye to remove the grey or a moisturizing shaving cream.

I'm sure it's going to work out, and Penn State would be AWESOME.

I was going to watch that game on delay later, but I accidentally found out the score. Why the fuck can't ESPN.com and NFL.com hide the scores. If someone wants to find them, show them were to look ffs.

But the part that shits me is that ESPN will CUT PARTS OUT OF THE GAME they're showing delayed, just to fit in more generic fucking ads. Are you serious?

And fanks for looking it up. It does figure one of the few close games this weekend - the one that I definitely know the score from will be the one they show. Normally we get to watch pathetic blowouts.

They're quite good. Normally most radio ads suck hard, but we had some of them played to us last semester and they were damn funny. A google search would turn some up.

thanks  i know! their meteorology program is AMAZING. and i love the town, it's a total college town. i could live in an apartment just feet from campus, yet i'd be off campus! the area around university of memphis is hilarious. now, the campus itself isn't that bad, though my mom thinks it's huge. it's actually kind of normal for a college. but hey. (she's finishing her associate's now and is trying to figure out where to get her bachelor's and has decided she's not going to memphis.) but the dorms are laughably bad. besides, i'd rather gouge out my eyes than live in a dorm. every apartment complex nearby is bad. like, people get stabbed and robbed often bad. they're building another complex nearby, i always see it because it's right next to the tattoo parlour i go to, so time will tell if that one is safe.

as it is, if i stay here for my degree, there's an apartment complex in midtown (like a ten minute drive from the school) i've had my eye on since i was in high school. love it love it love it.
