You are introducing yourself to a complete stranger. You can only hand them a CD with up to 3 songs on it. You cannot communicate with the stranger in any other way. No words, no body language, nothing. Just the CD. Assume that the stranger is a generic person of sound mind, old enough to think abstractly, but otherwise undistinguished.

What songs would you put on the CD?

There is only one more rule....and it is to prompt faster responses:

If someone posts an answer before you get around to it, you cannot use any of the songs they pick...you must come up with original songs just for you.

Wiskey in the jar - Dubliners
breaking the law - Judas priest
wonderful way to go - New model army

"Bad"--U2

"A Wolf At The Door"--Radiohead

"Incident On 57th Street"--Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band

Stone Temple Pilots - Still Remains
Paul McCartney - Maybe I´m Amazed
Radiohead - Let Down

sinners & saints - the sky is falling
the postal service - the district sleeps alone tonight
bruce springsteen - thunder road

in that order.

Buzzcocks - You Say You Don't Love Me
Magazine - Shot By Both Sides
Babyshambles - Fuck Forever

(Not 3 of my favourite songs by any means, but they kind of capture what's in my head at this split second in time.)

U2 - With or Without You
U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday
Beatles- Back in the USSR ;)

1. Pearl Jam - Corduroy
2. U2 - The Unforgettable Fire (since stay and streets have been chosen)
3. Bruce Springsteen - The Rising

this was tough, if I had to do this only tomorrow I'd come with 3 different songs

Bruce Springsteen-Countin on a Miracle
Bob Dylan-Idiot Wind
Bob Dylan-Gates of Eden

(If it wasn't take I would of chosen the rising instead of countin on a Miracle)
