Is that considered a bg deal over there?

I had my first and second kiss at a disco with two girls I didn't know, just to shut my friends up

^^Atticus Finch is a legend.....books:love:

^^^^I love Catcher in The Rye

^To Kill A Mockingbird is a great book

We never finished it, my teacher stopped half way through it, and expected us to know the rest

She couldn't teach

One time we came to class and she fell asleep after one minute

^^Reading or writing?
I love writing but don't let anyone read it. :reject:

 Atticus Finch

^:lmao: seriously?

^^ ye I am serious

Somebody woke her up after 10 minutes and told her class was over, and she let us all out and we had a 1:10 mintue lunch break

^^Mr. B did a huge thing with shakespeare and the rest of the year for me in LA is pretty much acting in original plays written in class (we built a stage in his classroom)

^^^^Ever watch the film of To Kill A Mockingbird...its from the early 60s i think....Gregory Peck plays an amazing Atticus...really excellent.

I like reading and writing poetry...don't worry about not letting anyone read it...it can be hard to share that type of stuff:)

^^:lmao: :lmao:

we really need some teachers like that at my school...

according to the schedule, lunch starts at 12:01
when everyone is getting ready to leave, and it's 12:00, you always hear some teacher saying "People...lunch is at 12: 01...please remain in your seats" :banghead:

^^ I seen some of the movie, but not all

Thanks to a certain English teacher again

< You know what's a good film The green Mile, we watched that in religion this year

^ Our lunch is 12:45 - 1:25

I hate poetry

W.B. Yeats was good, "The lakeisle of Innisfree"(Think that's the name) is great

Yeats is my favourite poet, but Innisfree isn't my favourite poem by him...'The Secret Rose' would be that. He had some really good political poems too.

I love that movie... Gregory Peck

our lunch is 12:01-12:55 (i think) but it always drags on until 1:15 when they make us go to the areas....

^^ Never read the Secret Rose in English, we only read 5

I read one in English and had to do 4 at home, and find out the meaning by myself

September 1913 and Easter 1916, (I think they're the names), are good as well

^ What do you mean, make you go to the areas?

^^I thought mine was the only school in the world that started lunch 1 minute after 12...

< A dreaded sunny day
So I meet you at the cemetry gates
Keats and Yeats are on your side

 The Smiths

^Yeah, even if we could leave, there's no place to go in my town

<Listening to Secret Garden

My school is very strange...you make your own schedule every morning, according to what you want to fdo that day. There are different areas for the different subjects, and after lunch it's supposed to be "no movement time" meaning you can't walk aimlessly around the halls, but we do it anyways...

^^We could leave if we wanted to...but there's not much to do around the school...

^^ That seems really weird

We just have a timetable, different for each day of the week for the year

And we get to lave our school for lunch

^It is really weird....not even my parents get the system.
My mom still asks me..."so what classes do you have tomorrow?"
And my answer is always "whatever I want, mom..."

My schedule goes:

History
French
Chorus/Photoshop/Gym
Science (Chem/Physics)
Lunch
Math
Ila
Ila
Wood/Music/Guidance/CPR

I don't get to choose any of my classes :grumpy:
