It's a bit silly, since just letting people count the F's is pretty effective to. Most people will miss one of more of the "OF"s, because they're pronouced more like a V.

He said count the fs in the next sentence. That statement ended with a period, making "Then post how many you see" the next sentence. There are no Fs in that statement.
