did anyone from UK/Ireland see Coldplay on Jools tonight?
I have to say they werent they're usual sparkly, blow me away self, though I didnt really think it was the fault of the band, the guys seemed to be playing their hearts out as always.
But the sound was pretty dreadful I thought, didnt seem like the sound engineer had done them any favours there. Perhaps in the studio it sounded fine, but on tv it came across very flat and lifeless, especially the drums, and especially on the first song In My Place.
Jools did an "interesting" interview with Chris Martin, who seemed a bit tipsy, though I dont think he was really, just sort of nervous or something, which struck me as funny. anyway, if he were a piece of furniture he'd a foldaway chair apparently.
I'll stop talking now
