And then the father and son bitch about it. It just irritates me. I hate every ad Telstra put out though. And then I hate how popular it is. All ads with gimicks and lines shit me. I like originality. You know what the best ad is? The Cadbury one with the gorilla. Fucking awesome. It doesn't matter what you think of Phil Collins. That ad is fucking superb. And beer ads. how fucking good are they? But phones? Fucking no. This country has no idea!

Ooh, yeah, I think I remember the bagpipes one now that you mention it. Not well, though. Can't have made an impression on me either way.

I'm convinced the "too many rabbits" ad is pretty much the only good thing Tel$tra has ever done.

You know what ads I love? Those godawful spruiker ads that scream at you. They're so BAD that all I can do is laugh at them and how ridiculous they are. Especially when it's some guy screaming about a women's underwear clearance. "LADIES! LADIES! MASSIVE BARGAINS THIS WEEKEND ONLY! SUPER LINGERIE CLEAR-OUT AT THE BOGAN SUPERCENTRE! BRAS! BRAS! BRAS! FAMOUS LABELS MASSIVELY DISCOUNTED! 50%! 70%! EVEN 90%! THIS WEEKEND!" And on and on it goes until every listener is deaf and can't tell if they're advertising a sale or some really low-budget softcore porn made at Crazy Clark's.

I've seen it before, I think I first saw it on the Gruen Transfer. I honestly think it's fairly meh. A gorilla drumming? That probably drew the crowds at some 19th century fair.

I don't really like any Australian ads on at the moment. I don't like how the Cadbury Gorilla ad is so obviously aimed at today's generation of twentysomethings and somethingteens that use the word "random" a lot.
