Rumors say Sony wants to drop her, but for what I know it could be all mktg.
Celine has a guaranteed $100 million contract singing a few hours/week in Vegas (90 minute show x 5 shows/week x 4,000 seats/show x up to $200/seat), so she can "retire" from recording and make yet another comeback after the Sony dust settles. I wouldn?t go to that show though, I prefer to gamble.

Featuring Celine Dion, ticket sales are well beyond expectations with over 200,000 of a possible 240,000 tickets sold for the first sixty shows.
