Just got back a few minutes ago. Could be the best Bond movie ever....even better than Goldeneye. And that's coming from a diehard Brosnan/Goldeneye fanatic. ;)

Same...I went in thinking that it would be tough for it to be better than Goldeneye (for me) and it actually is, though Goldeneye remains a close second ;)

You guys are really selling me on this! I'm not really a die-hard Bond fan, but I've heard a few comparisons to The Bourne Identity, in the way the movie is put together. Sounds great.

I had to go see it again with the famliy on Thanksgiving but was more than willing. I agree that it may have been even better...

I really, really liked Daniel Craig as Bond, but I didn't care for the plot. It's not so much the deviation from the Pierce Brosnan action-packed films previously, but I just felt that everything relating to Le Chiffre was filler and nothing more.

I thought Eva Green was absolutely stunning in it in every way.

i really didn't think the above picture was big enough :shifty:

Oh, James......

 :flirt: :faint:

:sexywink:

Fantastic movie, BTW, which did me a 180% on how I've always felt about Bond, which is that he was an outdated silly 1 dimensional male fantasy who fought staged fights with cheesy improbale villians. This one gives us a real man--powerful, strong, hardened but 3D, human and someone who is paying a hell of a price for the choices he has to make. Shower scene was, by the standards of any movie, breath taking and a real sucker punch. Good for them! Now that's a story I can watch.

M has the best one-liner of the movie: "God I miss the Cold War".

I think the women are rating this higher than the men

i guess my expectations were too high

i did like the movie, it seemed a tad long

agreed, his character is a more 3 dimensional bond

a big departure from all other bond movies

and, the ending? was it just to ste up the next movie?

My favorite line from the movie:

"THE WHOLE WORLD'S GOING TO KNOW YOU DIED SCRATCHING MY BALLS!"

Close second:

"Well, you know what I can do with my little finger."

 Overall great dialog, and classic Bond one-liners. Still love it.

The best film ever! And I've hated all the other bond films I've seen. I think daniel craig played a big part in my enjoyment..

I just got back from watching the movie.

Loved it....but I have two problems with it....Didn't like the actual title sequence (Although I  the song!)....and they really could have edited the whole Casino scenes down a tad...yes, I know that makes up most of the movie.....but I felt confused when they went back and fourth between the poker scenes and the fight scenes.

Oh yea....I had a couple of :blahblah:ers behind me so that made me lose interest on and off.

But I loved it overall.

Ah that reminds me of the really obnoxious teeny-boppers who were sitting next to me when I saw it the 2nd time  They kept :blahblah:ing and making comments about the movie that showed their ignorance about James Bond and the world in general

Has Mads been in any other English movies...? :shifty:

This is the FIRST James Bond movie I have ever seen! :reject:

We went on Thanksgiving night and I loved it!! And, he's not so bad for a boy. :shifty:

Your FIRST James Bond movie??? *gasp*

Actually it would help if you had seen others because there were several inside jokes...but still its a good start

Glad to see Daniel Craig did something for ya :sexywink::lol:

i saw it the other night.

*spoilers*

it was totally different than any of the other bond movies, wow. i thought daniel craig was very good, (connery is still the best) and i liked it overall. but the plot was somewhat simple, and it seemed like the only way he got new leads was with cellphones  the intro song was :|

i loved the, shaken or stirred? "do i look like i give a damn?" line.

i'm still amazed how much different from the normal bond movie it was, no Q, hardly any gadget stuff etc

if you look at my post on page 5

you see we pretty much agree

again, I say girls are rating this film much higher than the boys

and yes I thought the opening song was "painfully" awful

the opening credits were ok

since a big part of this film was about "playing cards".

I don't rate this movie higher than the others....and I'm a girl. Yea this is better than some of the other Bond movies....but they still could have done some things to make it a bit better.

I've never been a huge Bond fan but this was awesome. Loved it. It makes me want to see the other Bond movies, actually.

I'd say the opening chase scene was the best overall, but the movie was interesting throughout. The lovey dovey stuff at the end went on for awhile, but I can't complain, Craig is hot :D

:hmm:

I have $6 left on my gift card to Barnes and Noble, maybe I can pick a copy up :sexywink:

 Last week after my dad had seen the movie with me he was participating in an interfaith thanksgiving service and was sitting between a Rabbi and a Methodist minister. While sitting there he found himself thinking about the movie and he felt bad letting his mind wander to it in such a holy setting

I tried to see if it was on People's site, but no luck. Sorry I can't scan it in for ya. I could rip the page out and fold it up & mail it to you :hmm: Lemme know
