She was in Britain to promote her movie, and later she's in this classy coctail reception/party and someone mentions Tony Blair.
She apparenty said: "Oh, i don't know him. Who is he?"
She's explained that he, of course, is the British Prime Minister.
She replies: "Ooohh, he must be really important."

Doesn't she watch TV or read newspapers?

Look, I dont think that Britney is the brightest crayon in the box, but I have read too many of these idiotic quotes to believe all of them...
