Books, anyone?

well, i know a great deal of you people must read books, but i didn't find any threads... maybe i'm just lazy... well, anyway, i thought that maybe i should start one without having to look for one... recommendations of what you think are good books and discussions of some cool books too.... i shall start:

anyone read LAMB:the Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore? he he... you should, it opens many windows into freedom of your own thought within your religion... anyway, i recommend it HIGHLY, and anyone else who's read it... what do you think because, frankly, people my age don't read anything except for harry potter (i don't object), terry pratchet and fantasy stuff.... (going to refrain from saying what i really think, as i don't want to offend anyone)...
