Bono + Edge must have been listening to "planet telex" when they wrote "discotheque"

you can force it but it will not come
you can taste it but it will not form
you can crush it but it's always here
you can crush it but it's always near
chasing you home
saying 'everything is broken'
everyone is broken

you can force it but it will stay stung
you can crush it as dry as a bone
you can walk it home straight from school
you can kiss it
you can break all the rules
but still everything is broken
everyone is broken
everyone is broken
everything is broken

why can't you forget?
why can't you forget?
why can't you forget?

***yeah, BOOM-CHA!!! discotheque...

stop me if you've heard this before...

:p

ive heard this before ive heard this before!!!!!

i just dont remember where... hmmm.. maybe it was here? but i think your right. i mean, im sure you'll agree with me that the two songs dont sound the same, but the lyrics are very similiar.

the more i think about it, the more excited i am for new material from these guys in the next little while.

-Cloyd
-Balls McCone
-Cloyd (again)
-Blattus
-Box Bran-Delle

i think we may have slapped this puck around before, not sure though, i often think i remember things and i really am just imagining it

i still imagine Petr Sykora's shot going in the net to tie Game 7 1-1 instead of hitting the post and Colorado scoring soon thereafter to fuck up my shit big time

I tried to tell you guys!!!

In a little while
I'll be gone
The moment's already passed

!!!

Well, I never heard that one before. The similarities are quite striking.

Wanderer, you brought it up a month ago in EYKIW. As I recall we got into a bit of an argument about it. Not sure why, as largely I agree with you. Whether it's coincidence or not, who knows? Probably not.
