Great list.

But no Dream Theater, and no Godspeed You Black Emperor!?

Damn.

Gotta agree with Dream Theater and Eve 6. Both suck. A lot.

Meh.

There are about 25 80's hair bands that were somehow left off of the list. I would personally replace Skinny Puppy with Poison or Stryper and Paul Oakenfold with Europe or Great White. But I am no Blender columnist.

Blender-The music magazine from the makers of Maxim Hair Colour for Men! The trusted source in music (and frosted tips) since later 2002! I have rolls of TP with more credibility and insight.

I'll forget you said that pink floyd comment Yertle

That list is so lame

they leave out an infinitude of sucky 80's bands

and while I don't like bands like the goo goo dolls and Toad and the Wet Sproket...I don't think they deserve to be one of the worst bands of all time

read my journal

I have a mention on Mr. Adams

to be more contemporary

me thinks Montreal's finest ought to be there

yes I'm talking the mighty Simple Plan

basically, this just shows one thing - it is nigh impossible to make a list of 50 bad bands, because there are too many to choose from.

Thank you. This explains a lot. It also explains why Haircut 100 wasn't on that list.

Most indie rockers blow! They're like the preppies in high shcool, but for music. Fakes.

Toad being on there totally negates their list. Live as well.

If they are counting solo people (Vanilla Ice) there are a TON more crappy solo people out there to pick on than these two fine bands.

Shame.

You speak in past tense, Angela of 80'shairdom.

I STILL pull out the casio every week (wed. mornings), and pound out the chorus to one of Sweden's finest pop songs ever: "Final Countdown."

do do do dooo, do do da do do, do do do doooo..."It's the final countdown....."

Doesn't mean Europe doesn't suck though.

Shall I tell you about my Sunday morning (day of the sabath, of course) Stryper routine?

The comments everyone posted about that list are pretty damn funny! The list itself sucks.

No Jefferson Starship, or airplane?

???

I must say that is a fine list... good or bad.

And Crash Test Dummies? Have they never heard the masterpieces of "mmm mmm mmm mmm" or "The Superman Song"? Come on. That's quality with a capital Hell yeah.

There's a lot of Canadian content on the list. I am vindicated.

Bachman Turner Overdrive wasn't on that list.

Why the hell not, I don't know.
