Okay, I can't help it! Sorry for starting yet another Radiohead thread. I can't get enough of them right now. And esp. this song.......

i get home from work and you're still standing in your dressing gown
well what am i to do?
i know all the things around your head and what they do to you.
what are we coming to?
what are we gonna do?

blame it on the black star
blame it on the falling sky
blame it on the satellite that beams me home.

the troubled words of a troubled mind i try to understand what is eating you.
i try to stay awake but its 58hours since that i last slept with you.
what are we coming to?
i just don't know anymore.

i get on the train and i just stand about now that i don't think of you.
i keep falling over i keep passing out when i see a face like you.
what am i coming to?
i'm gonna melt down

May even be my favorite song of theirs... esp. musically!

Favorite Radiohead song? Say it aint so, Zoot McGoot!

Just playing. It really is great. I love the entire record, but that songs always been a standout for me.

Street Spirit though.... multiple

Zoot McGoot?

I know it's kind of a traditional rock song and not an all-out space jam like In Limbo but damn, I like that guitar after '... beams me home'. :faint:

I agree...great song. I love the contrast between Thom Yorke's fragile-sounding vocals and the crashing guitar sounds that follow. I get the sense that this song, and the entire album, could have been written in outer space. It feels removed and distant, yet intimate at the same time. How'd they do that? :eyebrow:

I give the song and album five drooling smileys:drool:
