There's a song called Ra Ra Rasputin? I want to hear it. I like Rasputin! Is it about him?

Miss You and Coming Up WERE considered disco crossover.

Amii Stewart, I thought that was it but I wasn't sure. Boogie Nights, I used to have the 45 as a kid :reject: but couldn't remember the name of the band.

Whoever did "To Be Real" is IN. But I DESPISE that song!

Also, ABBA was pop and do not qualify based on Dancing Queen alone. It wasn't even really disco, even though it mentione dancing and came out at the height of the craze.

Ha, Rasputin is about Rasputin but its a disco song so its not very intellectual.

Ra Ra Rasputin
Lover of the Russian Queen

etc.

I was thinking of Volez Vous for ABBA.

Tavares
Yvonne Elliman (sp)

Man, the names are escaping me. Guess that's a sign they don't have staying power

Blondie was CBGB's punk/new wave and came out of that culture with the Ramones and Talking Heads. But several of their songs were big in discos so I could see how you would keep them in.

He didn't love the Russian Queen, that was only propaganda by the Bolsheviks. He was there because she believed he could cure their son of his bouts with hemophilia. So it's not intellectual. It's still funny somebody would write a song about him though!

Ring My Bell, good call!

but you don't have to add Miss You, I'm sure the Stones would rather you didn't. ;) But that list is great! The only problem is there might not be enough people here who know those songs:huh:

Tony and Stephanie win
Tony gives up the prize cuz he knows he wasn't the best

In the background I'm listening to:

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I?m a woman?s man: no time to talk.
Music loud and women warm, I?ve been kicked around
Since I was born.
And now it?s all right. it?s ok.
And you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
The new york times? effect on man.
