Best Beatles Song Survivor - 'Please Please Me' Draw - Round 1

Well, this is it everybody. The Best Beatles Song Survivor is finally starting.

You've all done this before, you know how to play: Vote for your LEAST favorite song.

This poll will be open for 24 hours, at which point the song with the most votes will be eliminated from the competition and the next round will be started. This process will continue until only song remains in the 'Please Please Me' draw, and we move on to the next LP. And so on and so forth.

In the event of a tie, the tied songs will be eliminated together, UNLESS it is a tie between the final two songs in any draw, in which case the voting time will be extended.

The final round of the finals will last 48 hours.

I can't even sing one lick of Anna (Go To Him) or Chains. Hence, they must be awful.

For those that don't know some of the songs - these songs are not very long, so if you happen to have the CD or have it in your ITunes or whatever, it'll take less than an hour to listen to the whole album and make your judgements. Just a thought.

There's a couple of throwaways on this album, definitely. "Misery" always makes me cringe, but I think I'll have to go with "Chains" first. I always skip that one. One of the worst covers they've done (and they don't have many covers that are bad).

I think Boys is fun, and you can't go wrong with Please Please Me for early Beatles joy. I'll take that over Love Me Do any day.

They did some goofy covers in the early days. I'm partial to Til There Was You (from The Music Man) on Meet the Beatles!
