In a tie, We Can Work It Out and Revolution were both eliminated last round. This means that Hey Jude has, by default, become the final song to advance to the final draw, joining Twist And Shout, All My Loving, A Hard Day's Night, Eight Days A Week, Yesterday, In My Life, Eleanor Rigby, A Day In The Life, Strawberry Fields Forever, Blackbird, Here Comes The Sun, Let It Be, and I Feel Fine.

After 14 months, 14 draws, and 169 eliminations, we have arrived at the final draw. However, as promised, I am giving you all the chance to 're-do' the final round of any ONE draw. WHICH final round to do is the subject of this poll.

Here is a recap of the results of the final round of each of the previous 14 draws. Simply vote for the final round that you feel spawned an undeserving representative in the final draw. Only ONE final round will be re-done, so make sure you vote for the right one.

NOTE 1: THIS IS NOT A SURVIVOR-TYPE POLL - MEANING THIS IS ONE-AND-DONE - THE WINNER OF THIS VERY POLL WILL BE THE FINAL ROUND THAT GETS RE-VOTED ON.

NOTE 2: THE 'BEATLES FOR SALE' AND 'PAST MASTERS VOL. 2' DRAWS ENDED PREMATURELY DUE TO TIES FORCING DEFAULT ADVANCEMENTS. IN THE OFF CHANCE THAT ONE OF THESE FINAL ROUNDS ENDS UP BEING THE ONE RE-VOTED ON, WE WILL SIMPLY START FROM THE ROUND AT WHICH EACH ONE PREMATURELY ENDED - THE QUARTERFINAL OF THE 'BEATLES FOR SALE' DRAW OR THE SEMIFINAL OF THE 'PAST MASTERS VOL. 2' DRAW.

Without further ado, here are the results for the previous 14 draws, so that you may make your decision:

Twist And Shout def. I Saw Her Standing There 15-9

All My Loving def. It Won't Be Long 6-5

A Hard Day's Night def. Can't Buy Me Love 14-6

Rules: Vote for your LEAST favorite song. This poll will be open for 24 hours, at which point the song with the most votes will be eliminated from the competition and the next round will be started. This process will continue until only one song remains in the 'Please Please Me' draw, and we move on to the next LP. And so on and so forth.

In the event of a tie, the tied songs will be eliminated together, UNLESS it is a tie between the final two songs in any draw, in which case the voting time will be extended.

Once again, if any of you don't have access to this LP and would like to hear the songs you don't know, tell me in this thread and I will link you up via PM to a zip file containing the whole album.

Let's up the voting for people - the more participation, the better!

:up::up::up:

Although I wouldn't mind Across the Universe winning this either. It's a push between the two. Let It Be is still excellent though.

Eleanor Rigby couldn't touch Tomorrow Never Knows' jock strap, if we're using that terminology.

Oh come on!! It has to be The White Album. Guitar is a far better song than Blackbird....

Yes, White Album is the clear choice here. Blackbird is excellent, but out of place amongst the other finalists.

What shenanigans?

Wasn't that the round where you copped to voting under other screen names for Eleanor Rigby to teach us a lesson or some dumb thing? Where we all scolded you and you promised not to do it again?

There were a few on here I could have chosen, but it has to be Blackbird vs Guitar. I'm really surprised at the Eleanor/Tomorrow vote being ahead at the moment.

Oh wait nevermind, I see the reason now, that was a round I missed so I didn't know there had been "shenanigans".

In any case, Blackbird vs Guitar needs the redo!!

I'd love to re-do the White Album, but the final round still doesn't include what I think are the best songs on the album. So why bother?

To me, 8 Days a Week has no business representing an album. I think No Reply is a much better song, and if you look at the results, three songs were eliminated in a 3-way tie, with only 7 total votes cast. That's hardly a consensus.

namkcuR, I don't want to make you do extra work, but you should look at these results closesly and determine yourself which ones look a bit sketchy, and re-do whatever looks like it deserves one. In my opinion, Beatles For Sale should receive this treatment.

No, that was one of the early rounds of the Sgt. Pepper's draw.

Beatles For Sale is, imo, one of the weakest Beatles albums. Looking at those four songs - Eight Days A Week and the three-way-tie, I still think Eight Days A Week would have been the majority choice to win the album anyway. No Reply, I'm A Loser, and Rock And Roll Music are not that well-known. None would have defeated Eight Days A Week, imo.

was it? Huh.

Okay, well my vote for Eleanor Rigby vs. Tomorrow Never Knows still stands.

Untrue. TNK will never, nor has ever been the best song on Revolver. Neither song deserved to win that draw. It should have been She Said, She Said or I'm Only Sleeping IMO.

I'll take the Let It Be over Across The Universe draw.

when we all kept voting for within you without you.

I don't get the love for Tomorrow Never Knows. It's not that good.

But Blackbird?? Come on!!

How about we redo the white album with: Dear Prudence vs Monkey...

Ahem. Blackbird is one of the most beautiful of all Beatles' songs.

As far as Tomorrow Never Knows, it's good, but it's not as much of a fan favorite as Eleanor Rigby is.

It's beautiful yes, but there's about four songs at least that deserve to win before it.

I just have to download I Feel Fine and I've got them all.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't have minded seeing A Hard Day's Night redone. Can't Buy Me Love is a much better song.

And I'm still bitter that Something lost. :grumpy: *wasdesperatelyhopingforayounevergivemeyourmoneyvssomethingfinal*

Here Comes the Sun is probably George's best song ever, in my opinion.

I wish Paul would've let him write more of the band's songs.
