Best and Worst Films of 2001

ok its been a long year

but heres a mini-me list

the best
shrek- excellent animated feature, has a strong message which so much disney drivel fails to even think of getting across

AI- thought provoking stuff

Honourable Mention- The House Of Mirth

er.. a little help?

the WORST
tomb raider (a total W.A.S.T.E of time, energy and money)

the mummy returns- i think it grossed so highly because people saw it to see if 'the Rock' (Alias Dwayne Johnson) could act

final fantasy- at the end of it all me and my friends stared at the screen in disbelief and wondered: what the fuck was that? getting the facial expressions wrong with the dialogue made it look even worse. one of the few films i almost fell asleep in

american pie 2- oh god, arent teen films like so YESTERDAY now?

Dishonourable mentions- Pearl Harbour, Evolution, mariah carey: glitter, swordfish


overrated

the others- made ten times worst by my girlfriends dumping me after watching it

NB- harry potter- oh come on, people! cats and dogs

underrated

a knight's tale- no plaudits needed or anything, but i couldnt help but be entertained.

the fast and the furious

spy kids- cant help but be entertained

Have you seen Ocean's 11? I definitely think it was the best of this year.

I also really like the Princess Diaries. I saw it with my little sister and I thought it was really cute.

Can't really think of any others.........

I'm sure I'll adore Vanilla Sky - we'll know by Friday night

Damn, it's been a bad year for film! Yeesh!

Dude! Final Fantasy was effing awesome! And Tomb Raider? Well, Tomb Raider wasn't horrible.

Anyway, what came out this year? Ummm, I thought Monsters Inc. was good. So was Harry Potter. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was good. Final Fantasy was good. I have to say, though, that this wasn't the best year for movies.
